Latest advice from British Cycling on Coronavirus/COVID19
Riding a bicycle is a generally low-risk activity, but with our health and emergency services under such intense pressure it is important that we all take steps to manage risk wherever we can. Please only ride on routes you know well, that are close to home and that are well within your ability level; this is a time for calm recreation, not for challenging yourself.
British Cycling would like to emphasise that our individual liberty to get out on our own and ride our bikes, is dependent on continued
common-sense behaviour from all of us, and strict adherence to Government guidelines.

We're a small club - big on ambition. We want to spend as much time on the bike as possible, always pushing ourselves to help others achieve more on a bike.
Welcome to the web page of the Dundee Thistle cycling club. The club caters for all levels of cycling whether you are a racing/sportive enthusiast or a more casual rider looking to get fitter and still enjoy the social side of cycling.
Club runs are open to all so you don't need to initially be a member of the club to join in on the fun.
Runs usually leave from Invergowrie or Camperdown Gates
During the summer months we have a more competive Thursday night APR training session which starts from Invergowrie.
Weekend club runs leave every at 9.30 from Camperdown Country Park or the Millenium Hall, Muirhead. Typically the club runs will vary in length from 60 to 80 miles and will almost always have a cafe stop.
Check our FaceBook page for the latest plans.
WINTER MONTHS. Wednesday Group Ride at a steady pace. Thursday night is a faster run with hills. Both meet at 6pm at the Larged pave area as you enter Invergowrie. Check FaceBook for latest updates or changes due to weather conditions.
A general and a race Committee meeting is held on a regular basis but we are always ready to try new ideas.
Mostly we put on road runs but have an active mountain biking group which meets at 6:30PM every Tuesday. The route can vary although we generally meet at the Tay Road bridge lifts and do a ride to Tensmuir forest through Tayport.
